I’m from Florida where sports reign year around, This is where I begin my journey. I have played basketball since I can remember and do so currently. I have coached for over 10 years at the elementary, middle, high , and intramural college levels. My passion for coaching started when I was 16 years old, I coached my first city league team, it has only grown since. Just as passionate as I am about basketball, I am about my relationship with Christ. I am a God fearing woman who believes in walking upright. My spirituality gave me my foundation, the Army gave me discipline. I am a Veteran of the United States Army, I served as a Second Lieutenant Ordinance Officer. The Army instilled principles such as honor, integrity, and selfless service. Giving back is a duty.

Basketball has always been a pleasure of mine. I have played most of my life and still do at the age of 34. I will never take basketball for granted. I really feel deep down inside that it molded me into the woman I am today. I am a God fearing woman, a woman of integrity and righteousness. That's just a few characteristics. I could name more but I would rather not brag(lol). On a serious note, I believe in mentorship and plan to instill the character trait that it takes to be first a great citizen and next a successful well-respected person on and off the court.

I'm Rachel, mom of 3 boys and a dog. I cheered in high school and college and coached youth cheer for over 10 years. I have 7 years of experience teaching in early childhood education. Currently, I work in the healthcare field and proudly own a customizing and hair beauty business. I love cheer and teaching young people about the sport!
